“ride-of-our-lives”

Kærry Redwood Atjecoutay

At one time the people, our ancestor had a way to be that no longer exists. Now most are so far removed, the memory is but a mist of superstitions, the nature has become a green wall of desire a subconscious despair. Even if we live within it, we are inside a box, inside the box of our head – venturing out trying to attune our long lost spirits, at the end of our short excursion we end up back in the box where we are safe from the elements. The Nature Based Spirituality is still there, but out of reach and has always been there, it will never disappear, it is just that we have been arrested, while we let this industrial society take us for the “ride-of-our-lives” lead down a virtual garden path, away from the truth that once existed inside us!
